The ANPR was initiated on April 13, 2008 at Inje University College of Medicine, Busan, Korea. The ANPR has agreed to have three official representatives, advisory committee, steering committee, and coordinator office to provide efficient networking for pharmacogenomics research. The network is interconnected through the coordinator's office and all agendas are discussed and determined by the Advisory and Steering Committees. Three official representatives are as follows and more organization members will be added to fully cover the function of ANPR.

Steering committee: Thomas YK Chan (Hong Kong), Edmond JD Lee (Singapore), Wasun Chantratita (Thailand), Zahurin Mohamed (Malaysia),
Zhao-Qian Liu (China), Keh-Ming Lin(Taiwan), Ichiro Ieiri(Japan), Wichittra Tassaneeyakul(Thailand), Ritushree Kukreti(India), Min Goo Lee(korea), In-Jin Jang(korea).
